December 8, 2023 Update
It turns out I was rescued just in the nick of time. My vet check revealed a prolapse rectum (which is highly uncomfortable). I also went to get spayed, and sadly, I had been pregnant at one point. My pups unfortunately died before they were born and mummified inside me. 9 calcified pups….. oddly, this didn’t affect my health. No one knows why this happens. It likely occurred a while ago.🐾
So that’s the kind of sad stuff that I needed help with… couldn’t have solved those problems on my own. Super grateful for all the help. I am in a foster home recovering and looking for my forever home. I am not picky, just looking for someone who loves me and will care for me….and maybe take me for the occasional burger.

Some days, you just have to take matters into your own paws. ❤️ 🐾
Hi all, I am Destiny. As you can tell, I was starving. Life clearly has not been rolling in my favor for a while now. No home, no help, endless hunger, so I took a risk. It was a big risk, but I had nothing to lose. The McDonald’s in Morinville. I watched and waited, looking for the human that I felt looked kind. At last, there he was, with a fresh bag of burgers, heading for his truck. No time to waste, truck door opens in I scramble. Has my gamble paid off, or did I just make the biggest mistake of my life?
We stare at each other. Then, the miracle happens. He hands me a burger.
Yep, sometimes you have to take matters into your own paws.
We ate, and he brought me to the SCARS Morinville Rescue Center. They are so full, but their kind hearts could not turn me away. So tonight, I have food shelter and the great hope that my forever home is reading this right now.
