Chili’s owner passed away, and she suddenly found herself at SCARS. Imagine being 16 years old and losing the only home you’ve ever known. Everything familiar was gone, and when she first arrived, she was absolutely terrified. Her whole world had been turned upside down. Three weeks later, with patience, love, and a safe place to decompress, Chili has blossomed. She has shown us just how affectionate, gentle, and loving she truly is. Now she’s ready for the next chapter. At 16 years young, Chili isn’t looking for excitement—she’s looking for peace. A quiet home, a warm bed, gentle hands, and someone to love her through her golden years. Senior cats have so much love left to give.
