Hello SCARS, Here is an update for you about Chief. It’s been one year (as of November 9) since we adopted Chief! He has fit into our family since day one. He loves all the attention, loves butt scratches, and just laying on your feet when relaxing. Even for an old man (about 11 or 12 now), he tries to keep up with Sasha, our 4-year-old husky/border collie (for short time periods), and has been amazing with our kids, Logan (six) and Aliyah (three months old). He is always checking on Aliyah to make sure she is okay and was up with me the first week for every feeding. He is sure enjoying his life in our new home. A month ago, we bought and moved into a five-acre property with lots of room to roam and lay around. He even goes on 3-5 km jogs in the morning with my husband. He is healthy and doing amazing. Our family wouldn’t be complete without Chief. Thank you so much to everyone at SCARS for all that you do. We only adopt as they always make the most perfect addition to the family.
