Sept. 5/26 Meet Chewy! Chewy is a brave and resilient 2-year-old girl who has already overcome a tough start and is ready to find a family of her own!
Chewy arrived in care after suffering a deep laceration along her groin area. Despite the severity of her injury, this courageous girl has made a wonderful recovery.
Chewy has a moderate energy level and would make a wonderful adventure companion once she is fully healed. Whether it’s exploring new trails, going for walks, or simply spending time together, she’ll be happy to be part of the action.
She does well in the car, making her an excellent candidate for road trips and adventures. She is also fairly good on leash, although she is still working on her manners and would benefit from a little continued training to help her become the best walking buddy she can be.
Chewy is not suitable for a home with cats, so she’ll need a feline-free family. Her ideal home will be one that can give her the love, patience, and guidance she needs while she finishes her recovery and gets ready to enjoy all the adventures ahead.
Chewy has been through more than any dog should have to endure, yet she has remained sweet, loving, and eager to trust the people around her. Now, all this brave girl needs is a family who will show her that the best part of her story is still to come.
