Sept 27 update – Bubbles is doing well! She has multiple fractures: both the left and right mandibles (lower jaw), as well as fractures of the skull and maxilla (upper jaw). The team at Pulse successfully closed the soft tissues on her mandibular fractures and placed an ET tube to allow for safe administration of food, water, and medications. They also performed a procedure called “suture and buttons,” which works like a facial sling to prevent her jaw from hanging and helps maintain proper alignment. Bubbles will need a follow-up in 4 weeks to check how her bones are healing. Some of her tooth buds are displaced, so these will need to be monitored and may require removal. We’re facing so many emergencies right now—please help us continue to help pups like Bubbles. Every donation, share, or kind thought makes a difference!

Sept 23
Heartbreaking news, everyone. We’ve just taken in a little pup named Bubbles, who is only 6 weeks old and has come to us with a broken jaw.
Her injury is serious, with fractures in two spots. We can’t imagine what she’s going through, but she’s receiving the best care possible right now.

To determine the next steps for her treatment, we urgently need to get a CT scan to see if surgery will be necessary. Bubbles is so young and deserves every chance to heal and thrive.
We can’t do this alone! Every little bit helps, whether it’s a share, a donation, or just sending positive thoughts and prayers our way. Together, we can make a difference for Bubbles and pups like her. Thank you for your support!
