October 3 was a Sunday filled with emergency calls. 
Meet Atim. We could only love him for a very short time.
Our intake team received a call about a senior dog who was unable to walk. We dispatched a volunteer driver as quickly as possible and rushed Atim to the Vet. After he was looked over by the vet team, the very difficult decision to let Atim go was made. These decisions are not made lightly but we saw the pain that he was in. We couldn’t imagine allowing him to suffer any longer. With heavy hearts we said our goodbyes. Atim you were loved and now there is no more pain. Rest easy old fella.
