We have a litter of kittens who have been through lots of appointments. These adorable kittens came into intake on May 24, 2024. As you can see from the initial photos, something was wrong. We took them to the vet and found out they had ringworm (if anyone has handled that before, it’s a lengthy process).

Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago, after constant appointments, checkups, medication and lots of cleaning; now it’s been determined they have calci virus and cornea edema. Which means some of them have ulcers on her tongue, their eyes look awful, and some are limping (a common side affect). We now have the three on meloxicam & two on diclofinac for their eyes.

So supportive care is what we are doing: antibiotics for 2 weeks, metacam, fluids, vitamin b12 injections, along with the gastro food. Not only is this tons of stress on the foster homes but it’s also a strain financially. Please donate if you can!
