Well life doesn’t always go the way you want it to, and sometimes it feels like nothing goes your way. Life as a cat can be pretty rough, so often we are just not valued. That pretty much sums up my five months in this world.
I was found at my lowest point, starving and having been hit or kicked in the head. My right eye had been damaged beyond repair. My pain was indescribable.
Lucky for me, my bad luck changed. I was found by someone who cared enough to catch me and take me into the Westlock Veterinary Center. Great friends of SCARS, clinic staff knew I desperately and deservedly needed the help that SCARS could give.
A short phone call later and the course of my life was forever altered. I was now a member of the SCARS family. The short phone call was followed immediately by emergency surgery, where my damaged eye was removed.
My quality of life instantly improved. I am recovering and slowly learning to trust people. Hopefully I will be able to move to a foster home soon, but any support you could donate towards my care would be appreciated.
