Tostito

Aug 19/26 – Update on Tostito – So many emergencies… and this little girl needs all the positive thoughts she can get.

We tried placing her with a nursing momma, but sadly, she wouldn’t accept her. She’s only half the weight she should be, and the abscesses on her head have returned, so she’s back on antibiotics. But she’s a little spitfire—and thankfully, she’s eating well! Please keep this tiny fighter in your thoughts!

Aug 11/26 – Meet Tostito. This teeny little kitty has already fought harder for her life than any baby should have to. On Sunday, a Dr. from Lloydminister Animal Hospital called us asking if we could take her. Tostito’s siblings had sadly all been found deceased, leaving this tiny girl as the only one still fighting. Out foster picked her up and has been caring for her, making sure she’s warm, fed and getting every chance possible to grow stronger. But now we’ve hit another bump. Tostito has developed an abscess on the side of her tiny head that has started leaking pus, which means she needs to head back to the vet today for treatment. She may be tiny.  She may look a little like a gremlin. But  this girl is a fighter. After everything she has already survived, we’re going to do everything we can to give Tostito the second chance her siblings never got.
