A Heartfelt Thank You
This year’s Tails on the Trails was held July 11th, 2026, at the Lions Park in St. Albert, where our Grand total reached $26, 447.25!
Our day started out a little cloudy, but the sun came out and brightened and warmed our day! We started our Pledge walk with a wonderful turnout of supporters and their furry friends, after which many relaxed in the Beer Garden & BBQ, met some adoptable animals, and then did some shopping at our Bake Sale, SCARS merchandise, and a variety of vendors!

Our “Ambassador Dog” Scout raised $1730 for his Team! Charming Scout came into SCARS care as a very skinny and shy needing care. He received care, attention, and love at our rescur centre in Morinville, and then a Foster Home. Scout was a popular guest on Global and featured on our website several times. Scout has found a loving home with another SCARS friend and a family that spoils him taking him on adventures, love, and fun!
