Espresso: Small, strong black puppy who’s faced pressure after pressure and finally sees a glimmer of light ahead.
Eight weeks, that is likely, all the time I have spent in this world. Most pups spend that time with their littermates. My journey has been far different:
😔Abandoned at 6 weeks.
🙂Rescued by SCARS.
😪Emaciated and no immunity 🤢Parvo virus took hold.
🏨Hospitalization at the vet to fight for my life.
😊Feeling better, i get released from the vet to my foster home.
🤧Came down with a respiratory virus and return of parvo symptoms.
🏥Hospitalized again…
With the help of my veterinary care team, I am feeling better and hoping I don’t need their help again anytime soon. Released to the care of my foster home, where for the first time I am doing puppy things. Playing! Chewing anything I can get my sharp puppy teeth on! Enjoying a steady buffet of food and drink!
