After an overwhelming weekend with over 25 new cat intakes, our rescue centres are now facing a “dog-castrophe.” We have recently welcomed 9 adorable but very scared collie puppies & several new dogs from the pound.
January 27 update.
We are excited to share an update on the nine collies in our care. As we embark on this journey with them, our primary focus is on helping them develop essential social skills. This process involves gently introducing them to various environments and experiences to build their confidence and comfort around people and other animals. We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support we have received from our community. Your kindness and generosity have been instrumental in aiding our efforts to provide the best possible care for these collies. We truly appreciate every message, donation, and offer of help.
While the collies will not be available for adoption for at least 10 more days, we are actively seeking suitable foster placements. Fostering is a wonderful way to provide a temporary loving home for these dogs while they continue their journey to recovery and readiness for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster for one of these charming collies, please reach out to us via email at fosterprogram@scarscare.ca
Your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of these dogs and help them transition smoothly into their forever homes. Thank you once again for your continued support and compassion. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of these beautiful collies.
