Update on Little Eos: Our Christmas Miracle! We wanted to share an update on our sweet Eos, who came to us after a terrifying poisoning incident. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the veterinary team and the support of all of you, she has defied the odds and is on the mend! While she has regained consciousness and is showing some improvement, we’ve learned that she is currently blind and a bit wobbly on her feet. We’re still uncertain if these conditions will be permanent, but we’re holding onto hope as she continues her journey to recovery. The good news is that Eos has found a loving foster home where she’s surrounded by care and affection. They’re providing her with the comfort and time she needs to heal. 💖

Timing is everything, and right now, it’s a matter of life and death for Nyx, Eso, and Selene. Three adorable pups are in desperate need of help, and we have just embarked on a critical journey to change their fate.

Nyx arrived with a broken leg, needing immediate medical attention. As we rushed her to the vet, we couldn’t have predicted the heartbreak that awaited us next. Upon arriving back at our facility, little Eso was unresponsive. Panic set in as our volunteer driver turned around without hesitation to rush her to join her sister at the vet. Our hearts dropped when we learned she had suffered two seizures—suspected poisoning. Now, both Nyx and Eso are in the hands of skilled veterinarians, receiving the urgent care they need. We’re all anxiously waiting to see if we got to them in time to save their lives.

Nyx had to undergo surgery to amputate her leg. The procedure was more challenging than anticipated due to severe abscesses between her muscles. She’ll need to stay in the hospital over the weekend as she recovers. Eos is still receiving treatment as well and will remain in the hospital. Right now, her prognosis is uncertain, which weighs heavily on our hearts, but we’re holding onto hope for both of them.

This is the harsh reality for so many animals out there—abandoned, neglected, or worse. Their stories often go unheard, and their struggles remain invisible to many.
