Georgia and her babies were left in a cage at the pound back in August. It was a tough start for her and her little ones, but thankfully, their story didn’t end there.
Today all of Georgia’s pups have been adopted, finding loving homes and bringing joy to their new families. Meanwhile, Georgia has been busy gaining weight, getting all vetted, and just being spoiled as she deserves. Recently, Georgia went in for dental work due to a couple of broken teeth. We had noticed a tear in her lip and mouth, which we initially assumed was the result of a fight with another dog. However, further investigation revealed a more harrowing truth. It turns out that Georgia was shot in the face, causing the broken teeth and the split in her mouth. X-rays revealed pellets that are still embedded there — Despite this, Georgia has shown incredible resilience.
Thankfully, she survived this ordeal and continues to heal, both physically and emotionally. Georgia is now on the lookout for her forever home, where she can receive the love and care she truly deserves. Her journey is a testament to her strength and the kindness of those who have helped her along the way.
