SCARS brought in 20 new souls last week from a tough situation. 20 animals in crisis—scared, unsure, not knowing what would come next. SCARS knows the formula to follow:
- Decompression – Don’t ask for too much too soon
- Food, fresh water, clean bedding
- Soft voices
- Gentle hands
- Patience
It’s coming along… For those first tails to wag, for a glimmer of sparkle to appear in dull eyes, for the first soft purr. We know there is still a journey ahead, but we are resilient and adaptable, and we know a good thing when we find it.
