These two tiny 4 week old kittens were found on the side of the highway. At first it was just Nori spotted and sadly she was terribly injured. Her one front leg was almost severed beyond repair. Yuki could be heard crying in the ditch. Thankfully a kind passerby picked them up and took them to the closest vet, which was Athabasca. Nori had to undergo surgery to amputate her one front leg. Both kittens are now in a foster home healing.
It’s kitten season! Please spay and neuter your cat. Nori and Yuki were lucky but many are not.
