Fortunately, SCARS was there to help, and a volunteer named Vera was able to step in and take Mugglesworth to the vet to get the care he needed. Despite his matted fur and numerous bites, the vet was able to determine that Mugglesworth’s leg was not broken, but he needed antibiotics to help him heal. After just a few days on the medication, Mugglesworth began to use his injured leg again, a sign that he was on the mend.
