Hello SCARS, It’s Dixie (Speck) wishing you all the best of the season. Please stay safe! I have been so busy growing and getting into mischief (which is one of my nicknames) that I thought that I would give you an update. December 13th was my 1st birthday. I’m about 100 lbs. now and still growing. I am so proud that I passed my obedience training and got my certificate. Mum is still laughing as she says she wonders how that happened, mainly, because I do have an attitude. Hey, I’m the real deal, all wrapped up in love and always the promise to do better, every day. Dad put lots of Christmas decorations in our yard. He is quite the celebrity in the community as people come from all around to see his lights. This is all new to me and I have to bark at the blow-ups but then, once they are blown up there is no movement so I have decided to leave them alone. Mum told me that SCARS was having some financial difficulty. I guess they are doing better now, but please donate if you are able, or, if you are so inclined, perhaps foster or adopt! SCARS saved my life and so many others. It will be worth your while. Guess what Mum had for in-house decorations? Battery operated dogs, go figure! If she could, she would have that many live ones and has often said that I would do well with another brother or sister. Well, my fireplace is calling me, so I will sign off.
