Hello SCARS, I’m Harley Quinn and I was available for adoption through SCARS in the spring of 2011. Before anyone else had the chance to fall in love with me, I convinced my foster mom that we were a good team. I don’t know why they call it a foster fail, because we are a huge success! For my 10th birthday (July 20th) we thought we would send in an update.
Mom and I have had so many adventures over our 9 years together! I had a lot of energy as a young dog, so we got started in agility to give both my brain and my feet something to do, and it turns out we have a lot of fun and have made a bunch of new friends, both 2 legged and 4 legged. Since then, we tried some other dog sport games, and my favorites are barn hunt, scent detection, and agility. I’m just happy to play, but I think my mom also likes the pretty ribbons I bring home.
Thanks to me, my mom has seen so much of the river valley trail system, a bunch of parks and a whole lot dog-friendly places all over the province. I love to go for long walks with my mom, being brushed, wrestling with my border collie friend, Jimmy, and chilling in the yard with a nice snack. Having a human has definitely changed my life in some amazing ways, and I want to say thank you to SCARS for all the good work you do giving dogs like me a Second Chance at a great life!
