We recently responded to a heartbreaking situation in which 26 cats were abandoned in a rental home and later discovered by the property owner. Every one of these cats now needs care, safety, and a loving home. SCARS took in 11 of the cats, while other rescue partners stepped in to help the rest. In addition, we also welcomed another 11 cats from another rescue situation.
