The 4th Annual Mutt Strut for SCARS took place on September 22 in Whitecourt. Despite the unusual weather (snow in September?), there was a great turnout for the annual 5 km dog walk/run in support of SCARS. We are very grateful for the $6,500 that was raised in support of animal rescue in Alberta.
The adoptable SCARS puppies were a big hit with participants! The event is co-sponsored by Global Pet Foods and Original Joe’s. It included prizes, a 50/50 draw, and everyone who participated got a swag bag (courtesy of Global Pet Foods). The event also featured the Original Joe’s food truck and a photo booth by Fatina of Pet Spa and Portraits.
