Nine tiny puppies and three young dogs were left at our Morinville facility this long weekend. When someone comes into our rescue centre and demands we take them and insists they are not leaving with them, what choice do we have? Concerned for their wellbeing, we took them in.
In order to accommodate that, we had to move four other dogs from our facility into a boarding kennel temporarily. We just don’t have the capacity right now to accommodate all the requests we get on a daily basis. These are difficult times and there are simply not enough homes for the number of animals that need help.
How you can help:
The most important thing you can do is spread the word. Alberta cold weather is quickly coming and that scares us. There are so many lives that depend on us.
