Hi there! My name is Turbo. I am an older gent with a rough past but you would never know it because I am always so happy to see you! I came in as a stray with quills but the people at SCARS took me to the vet and I got those nasty quills removed. I have some issues with my front legs and the vet says it's because I was shot in the leg in the past. Can you believe someone would want to hurt someone as cute as me? Unfortunately it healed without vet care, so I will always walk with a limp and I will probably never be up for very long walks. I get monthly medication injections at the vet which are really helping me feel better. I also have some other old injuries, so I have some scars on my back. Because I came in as a stray, no one really knows what happened to me but those don't seem to cause me any pain. I like to talk and tell you exactly how happy I am to see you, although my friends at the shelter say it comes out more as a "rumble" than anything. I am looking for a quiet, forever home where I would be the only pet. I am not a big fan of other dogs or those things they call cats. I would do best in an adult-only home who can best read my pain signals and know when I need to rest. I am incredibly affectionate and I will rub my head on you until you give me all the scratches I deserve. Do you have a quiet home for a handsome gent like myself to retire in?
