My name is Jasper, I’m what is referred to as a “close talker”-I love to be close to my humans and despite my 70lbs size I like to climb right up into your lap and rest my head on your head. Cuddles are my thing and couch crashing is my full time job. I do have some food allergies, even though I like to pretend I don’t, I’m allergic to beef, pork and chicken so I moonlight as a pescatarian if I’m not eating venison or lamb but there’s lots of food options for me at the store-just have to make sure to read the ingredients, you wouldn’t believe how many foods have chicken by-products in them. I love walks and I’m a gentleman on leash, I go to the off-leash parks from time to time and enjoy meeting all the new dogs. I’d do best in a home with a buddy, my foster sister has taught me so much and she keeps me company when my foster mom goes to work. I have a crate that I like to go spend time in when I’m feeling overwhelmed or just want some solo time. Sometimes when I’m feeling anxious or excited I like to chase my tail, when I first got to my foster home I did it a lot because there was a lot of new things to see and learn but since I’m been in my foster home for a month I’m doing it less and less.
