If you are looking for the sweetest, most loyal companion then you've come to the right place. Hi my name is Ponyo (aka Birdie)

I can be a little timid at first, but once I figure out that you're my human(s) I will stick to you like glue and shower you with love.

If you want to lay on the couch and cuddle ... I'm your girl. If you decide we are going for a walk... let's go! I must admit I'm pretty well behaved on the leash as I'm really smart and want nothing more than to please you. I don't mind car rides if it means going somewhere together and I sit quietly in the back.

My foster mom thinks I have the most beautiful soft white coat, which I don't mind when she brushes me because it means I get attention. I can be motivated by food, which is a bonus, if you're trying to teach me something new. I am a smarty pants and already know how to sit, lay down, come when I'm called and stay. Also no messes in the house for this gal.

My foster mom works from home so during the day I am happy lazing on my dog bed relaxing while watching all the activity going on in the house. Did I mention I just really love to be included.

I think my two resident dog brothers are a lot of fun. We often play tug-of-war as well as chase in the yard.

I also have two younger human brothers who I think are pretty special. I really enjoy getting pets and cuddles and I am super gentle with them. I am such a sweet girl who is deserving of a loving family who will adore me for the rest of my days. If that could be you... let's meet!

I do have hip dysplasia. Right now I am taking some supplements and started some medication. That doesn't stop me at all!
