* NO small KIDS and NO SMALL DOGS * * I also would do best in a home with a happy go lucky dog that can be my people buffer, one that loves new comers and I can see that new people are worthy of some acknowledgement. * Hello SCARS world I'm Brock, I am a handsome man that has learned so much when I came to SCARS. I've learned the house is where it is at! I went from being an outdoor short coated dog to indoor belly rub king that only leaves my house to pee!! I love yoga & all things indoor exercise that I can do with my foster mom! I am about 4 years old, I love MY person... and right now my foster mom is MY person, so I tend to struggle at meet & greets because as it turns out you are NOT my person YET! I need someone willing to take a chance on me and realize I will transfer my affection from her to you. I also would do best in a home with a happy go-lucky dog that can be my people buffer! A dog that loves new comers and I can see that new people are worthy of some acknowledgement. I am house trained and walk well on leash but I did grow up in the country, so I do love the space and privacy the quiet country life provides.

I'm a Sanctuary Animal

What's a sanctuary animal? Sanctuary animals are permanent wards of SCARS due to medical conditions or behavioral issues and we are not likely to ever find an adoptive family. SCARS is committed to giving these animals a home and the love, care and attention they deserve! We house them at our two main intake facilities. We look to businesses to sponsor Sanctuary Animals to help us offset the cost of housing them. Click here learn more about our Sanctuary Animals
Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
