Hello there! I'm Smaug and like my namesake, I am large and in charge! I am a very sweet boy who loves affection. I will follow you around the house to watch as you go about your day - after all, I absolutely LOVE to be with my people. I came in as a stray who was wandering around a farm so not a lot is known about my past. I don't mind other cats as long as they are calm and mostly leave me alone. I get along quite well with one of the female senior cats at the shelter as we both like to do our own thing. Since coming in to care, I have had some health problems but things are starting to look up for me since having a dental. I should be available for adoption pretty soon once I am cleared by the vet!
